BCMH FOUNDATION TAX CREDITS FOR CONTRIBUTIONS |

|
An exciting opportunity is once again available for taxpayers wishing to monetarily support their favorite non-profit organizations while reducing their tax liability. Braxton County Memorial Hospital is a 501(c)(3) corporation and qualifies as a non-profit organization. For the second consecutive year, grant funding has been obtained for the purpose of awarding tax credit vouchers to those making a minimum $500.00 donation to the BCMH Foundation. As designated through the Neighborhood Investment Program, tax liabilities will be reduced by 50% of the amount donated. For example, taxpayers making a contribution of at least $500.00 will receive a tax credit voucher for $250.00, which can be used on your WV personal income tax. The tax credit voucher may be retained as verification for use over a 5-year period or all in one year; however, only monetary donations are applicable. Although PTO donations and payroll deductions are not eligible for this tax credit, they are considered tax deductible on annual income tax returns. Additionally, recognition pins will continue to be awarded to employees contributing to the BCMH Foundation. As the end of 2011 approaches, please remember our own local, not-for-profit, community healthcare facility when making your tax deductible contributions this year…
