About us
Braxton County Memorial Hospital
accepted its first patient in 1981. We are a non-profit, critical
access facility that serves Braxton, Clay, Gilmer, Lewis, Nicholas and
Webster counties. The hospital offers quality inpatient acute care,
skilled nursing beds, inpatient and outpatient surgery, women’s services,
respite care, home health care, 24-hour emergency care, and
primary care physician services in the Braxton Community Health Center. The
hospital also has an extensive outpatient facility including
cardio-pulmonary, laboratory, outpatient nursing and radiological services.
Gassaway-Glenville Physical Therapy Specialists, Inc. and Braxton Imaging (ultrasound) also provide services at
the hospital.

Located at 100 Hoylman Drive in Gassaway, BCMH is easily
accessible from I-79.
From the North:
Take I-79 South toward Charleston. Take the WV-4 exit, exit number 62 toward
Sutton/Gassaway. Turn right onto WV-4 toward Gassaway. Go 0.5 miles. Turn
right onto Hoylman Drive.
From the South:
Take I-79 North toward Clarksburg. Take the WV-4 exit, exit number 62 toward
Sutton/Gassaway. Turn right onto WV-4 toward Gassaway. Go 0.8 miles. Turn
right onto Hoylman Drive.
