Volunteers

The auxiliary consists of both men and women who are looking to make a difference in the community.

Since the hospital’s inception in 1980, the Braxton County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary has been providing much needed service and monetary support.  In 2007, the Auxiliary provided nearly 5,000 hours of service and over $7,000 in monetary donations or purchases for the hospital have been distributed since January 2007.

The auxiliary consists of both men and women who are looking to make a difference in the community.  Many volunteer opportunities are available. In addition to volunteer work, the auxiliary holds several fundraisers throughout the year including uniform, book and jewelry sales.  The Auxiliary is governed by a committee of officers who follow a set of bylaws adopted by the auxiliary at its creation. For more information on how you can become a volunteer please contact the hospital at 364-5156.
