In recognition of National
Doctorsí Day, Braxton County Memorial Hospital physicians were
honored with a delicious luncheon provided by members of the
Auxiliary. To accommodate their busy schedules, this annual
event occurs prior to the regularly scheduled Medical Staff
meeting in March. Tokens of appreciation from BCMH
Administration were also presented to our dedicated physicians.
In addition to caring for our patients, Active Medical Staff
members meet on a monthly basis to conduct various committee
meetings including Medical Standards, Departmental Services,
Utilization Review and Credentials as well as Pharmacy and
Therapeutics. Although their efforts are appreciated throughout
the entire year, this day of recognition provides us with an
opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional
healthcare available to our community. Surgical, emergent,
medicinal and educational healthcare needs are met on a daily
basis at Braxton County Memorial Hospital because of the ongoing
commitments of these physicians.
Active Medical Staff members, Drs. Russ Stewart, Art Sabio
and Doug Given made their selections along with Courtesy Staff
member Dr. Sally Stewart. Dr. Gary Lowther, ED Consulting Staff,
rushed back to the Emergency Department with tray in hand, a
testament to the dedication of BCMH providers.
Right) Auxiliary members, Mary Ellen Duffield, Rosalie
Steele, Wilda Sears and Jan Dobbins, provided the delicious
luncheon for BCMH physicians.
