ANNUAL AUXILIARY AWARDS LUNCHEON

Forty-eight Auxiliary members, hospital staff and guests were welcomed by Sue Marple, President of the Auxiliary, to their Annual Awards Luncheon held on September 8th at PJ Berry’s in Sutton. Ben Vincent, BCMH Administrator, presented the invocation expressing gratitude for  the relationship between our local hospital and the community. Following the delicious meal, Barbara Adams, Chairman of the Board of Directors, addressed those in attendance, expressing her appreciation for BCMH and what its presence means to this area. She commended the ongoing efforts of individual Auxiliary members as well as the support provided by the entire group. From the smiling, friendly faces who greet surgery patients and their families, to the fundraising events which allow purchases for the hospital, Barbara praised their dedication. Recent landscaping achievements were also noted in addition to ongoing collaborative efforts in providing community service events such as Rotary / Lab Blood Screenings and Red Cross Blood Drives. In keeping with the tradition of recent years, Jan Dobbins entertained those present with beautiful, inspirational singing. The recognition portion of the program honored new members, those attaining new pin levels for cumulative hours of service, new life members, and the presentation of the Volunteer of the Year Award to Hallie Bosely (pictured on the previous page).
