Volunteers Appreciated at BCMH

Prior to their regularly scheduled meeting on October 28th, the Board of Directors gathered in the hospital multi-purpose room to express their gratitude for the ongoing support of the Auxiliary. As a gesture of appreciation, members of the Auxiliary Board had been invited to dine with BCMH Board members. During the past fiscal year, the Auxiliary had purchased multiple items benefiting employees as well as patients. Their gifts included a tonometer for use in the Emergency Department and Community Health Center and a stretcher for Surgery. Flat screen TVs were also purchased for Med Surg and the CHC as well as reclining chairs for Med Surg. In monetary value, their contributions exceeded $11,000; however, their daily presence in our small, local hospital is considered invaluable. Throughout the year, members of the Auxiliary assist hospital staff with providing care to our patients. They also encourage our efforts by donating to employee activities and events. In addition to making us feel special during the Holiday Season, they are an unparalleled support throughout the year!  Pictured on the previous page:
